Terms of Service for Mainline Updater

Terms of Service - Mainline Updater

Terms of Service

Application: Mainline Updater
Provider: Arum Communications Corp.
Effective date: 2026-06-18

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mainline Updater mobile application ("the App" or "the Service"), provided by Arum Communications Corp. ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The Service

The App helps you update Android core OS components (Mainline modules) and check for operating system updates on your device. It detects your device manufacturer and Android version and directs you to the appropriate built-in system update screen. The App does not itself download or install operating system updates, and it does not modify, bypass, or replace the update mechanisms provided by your device manufacturer or by Google.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on a device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or lease any part of the App;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except as permitted by law;
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels;
  • Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our services or those of our third-party providers;
  • Use the App to violate any applicable law or regulation, or to infringe the rights of others.

4. System Updates — Important Notice

The App does not create, host, or install operating system updates. It only helps you reach the system update screens already provided by your device and by Google. Whether an update is available, and the result of installing it, is controlled entirely by your device manufacturer and by Google. We are not responsible for the availability, content, timing, or outcome of any system or Mainline module update.

Update availability depends on your device model, manufacturer, carrier, and Android version. Some features of the App may not be available on all devices. We strongly recommend backing up important data before performing any system update.

5. Permissions

The App requests permission to access the network and to post notifications so that it can load its services and deliver update reminders. You can review or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings; doing so may limit or disable App functionality, including notifications.

6. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Some features of the App, including ad removal, are available only through a paid premium subscription. Subscription purchases are processed by Google Play Billing and managed through RevenueCat.

  • Billing: Subscription fees are charged to your Google account at confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period, at the price displayed in the App at the time of purchase.
  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Google Play account settings.
  • Free trials and promotions: If a free trial or promotional period is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, unless required otherwise by law.
  • Refunds: Refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy and any non-waivable rights you may have under your local law. We generally cannot issue refunds directly; please contact Google Play support for refund requests.
  • Restore purchases: If you reinstall the App or change devices, you can use the "Restore Purchases" function to reactivate an active subscription tied to your Google account.
  • Price changes: We may change subscription prices from time to time. Where required by law, we will give you advance notice and the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.

7. Advertising

The free version of the App is supported by advertising delivered by Google AdMob. Ad selection may use device identifiers and information about your device and the App.

8. Third-Party Services

The App integrates third-party services, including Google Play Services, Google AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Play Billing, and RevenueCat. Your use of those services is also governed by the applicable third-party terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services and do not control their content, policies, or practices.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Engage in any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or harassing activity;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App or its related systems;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App;
  • Distribute viruses, malware, or any other malicious code through or in connection with the App.

10. Intellectual Property

The App and all related content, including but not limited to source code, designs, graphics, icons, text, and trademarks, are the property of Arum Communications Corp. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license granted in Section 3, no rights are granted to you. "Android" and related marks are trademarks of Google LLC; we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC or any device manufacturer.

11. Updates and Availability

We may release updates, bug fixes, or new versions of the App from time to time. We may also modify or discontinue the App or any feature, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY SYSTEM OR MAINLINE MODULE UPDATE WILL BE AVAILABLE, COMPATIBLE, OR SUCCESSFUL ON YOUR DEVICE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL ARUM COMMUNICATIONS CORP., ITS AFFILIATES, OR ITS LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) USD 10.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Arum Communications Corp. and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms. You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will survive.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Korea, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Contact Us

If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us at developer@arumarum.com.

Privacy Policy for Mainline Updater

Privacy Policy - Mainline Updater

Privacy Policy

Application: Mainline Updater
Provider: Arum Communications Corp.
Effective date: 2026-06-18

Arum Communications Corp. ("we", "us", "our") built the Mainline Updater app ("the Service") as a free, ad-supported application with an optional paid subscription. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use the Service, and the choices you have associated with that information.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Process

1.1 Information processed only on your device

The Service helps you update Android core OS components (Mainline modules) and check for operating system updates. To do this, the app reads basic, non-personal device information already available on your device:

  • Device manufacturer and brand (for example, Build.MANUFACTURER)
  • Android version / API level (for example, Build.VERSION.SDK_INT)
  • The list of installed Mainline modules and their versions, for display in the in-app module viewer

This information is used locally to determine whether your device is supported and to launch the correct system update screen for your device's manufacturer. The Service does not read, scan, upload, or modify your personal files, photos, contacts, or messages, and it does not access device storage for the purpose of collecting your content. The Service does not itself install OS updates; it simply directs you to the appropriate built-in system update screen provided by your device or by Google.

1.2 Permissions used

PermissionPurpose
INTERNET Required to load advertising, analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, and subscription validation.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE Used to detect network availability before making network requests.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+) Used to display update reminders and notifications you have opted in to receive.

1.3 Information collected by third-party services

The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you or your device. These services may collect data such as device identifiers (Android Advertising ID), IP address, device model, operating system version, app version, language, country, crash logs, and aggregated usage events. Please review each provider's privacy policy linked in Section 4 below.

1.4 Push notifications

The Service uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver update reminders and related notifications. To do this, Firebase generates a device registration token and may subscribe your device to notification topics. You can disable notifications at any time from your device settings.

1.5 Subscription and purchase information

If you purchase a premium subscription, the transaction is processed by Google Play Billing and managed through RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment instrument (e.g., credit card number). We receive an anonymous subscriber ID, purchase tokens, entitlement status, and purchase metadata such as country and product ID, in order to grant and validate your premium entitlement.

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide the core OS update and Mainline module functionality (locally on your device).
  • To deliver advertising, including non-personalized ads where required by law or by your consent choice.
  • To send update reminders and notifications you have opted in to receive.
  • To measure app performance, diagnose crashes, and improve stability.
  • To validate and manage premium subscriptions.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal Basis (EEA/UK Users)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on (a) your consent for advertising, analytics, and crash reporting that involve personal data, collected through Google's Consent Management Platform (CMP) shown on first launch; (b) the performance of a contract for subscription processing; and (c) our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service. You can change your consent at any time from the in-app privacy settings.

4. Third-Party Service Providers and Their Privacy Policies

We use the following third-party services. Each link below leads to that provider's privacy policy and, where applicable, its description of the data it collects and how it is used.

5. Advertising and Your Choices

Ads are served by Google AdMob and may use the Android Advertising ID to deliver, measure, and limit the frequency of ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time:

  • On Android: open Settings → Google → Ads and toggle "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization".
  • For EEA, UK, or Swiss users, you may withdraw or change your advertising consent through the in-app privacy options, which re-displays the Google CMP consent form.
  • Learn more: Advertising ID, Google Ad Settings.

6. Log Data

When the app crashes or encounters an error, third-party tools (Firebase Crashlytics) may collect diagnostic data including device IP, device model, operating system version, app configuration at the time of the error, and the time and date of the event. This information is used solely to diagnose and resolve issues.

7. Cookies

The Service does not itself use cookies. However, third-party SDKs embedded in the app may use cookie-equivalent identifiers (such as advertising IDs) to provide their services.

8. Data Retention

  • Device information used to determine update support is read only at runtime and is not stored by us.
  • Subscription records are retained by RevenueCat and Google Play Billing for as long as required to maintain your entitlement and for legal/accounting purposes.
  • Crash and analytics data are retained according to each provider's standard retention periods.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (EEA, UK, California, etc.), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the limited information processed through the Service. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

11. Links to Other Sites

The Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. These external sites are not operated by us. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

12. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it from our records. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take the necessary action.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective date" at the top.

14. Contact Us

If you have any questions or suggestions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at developer@arumarum.com.

Terms of Service for Fill Storage

Terms of Service - Fill Storage

Terms of Service

Application: Fill Storage
Provider: Arum Communications Corp.
Effective date: 2026-06-17

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Fill Storage mobile application ("the App" or "the Service"), provided by Arum Communications Corp. ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The Service

The App lets you fill your device's storage by generating dummy files of selectable sizes, and helps you find and remove large files as well as the dummy files it created. All operations run on your device. The App does not upload your files or their contents to our servers.

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or lease any part of the App;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except as permitted by law;
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels;
  • Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our services or those of our third-party providers;
  • Use the App to violate any applicable law or regulation, or to infringe the rights of others.

4. Filling Storage and Deleting Files — Important Warning

You are solely responsible for filling your storage and for the files you choose to delete. Generating dummy files will consume free space on your device, and deletion through the App may be irreversible. We strongly recommend that you back up important files before performing any cleanup. We are not liable for any loss of data, files, or media, or for any reduced device performance, resulting from your use of the App.

When removing large files, always review the files selected for deletion before confirming, as some may be system or application files that your device or other apps rely on.

5. Permissions

The App requires access to your device storage in order to create dummy files, scan for large files, and delete files you select. You can review or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings; doing so may limit or disable App functionality.

6. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Some features of the App are available only through a paid premium purchase. Premium purchases are processed by Google Play Billing and managed through RevenueCat.

  • Restore purchases: If you reinstall the App or change devices, you can use the "Restore Purchases" function to reactivate a purchase tied to your Google account.

  • Engage in any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or harassing activity;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App or its related systems;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App;

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Privacy Policy for Fill Storage

Privacy Policy - Fill Storage

Privacy Policy

Application: Fill Storage
Provider: Arum Communications Corp.
Effective date: 2026-06-17

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Process

1.1 Information processed only on your device

The Service generates dummy files to fill your device storage and scans your device storage to find large files you may want to remove. To do this, the app reads and writes:

  • Dummy files that the app creates and writes into its storage directory at the sizes you choose
  • The file paths needed to delete files you choose to remove (the dummy files you created and the large files you select)

This information stays on your device. We do not upload your files, file names, file paths, or scan results to any server operated by us. Scan results are kept only temporarily on your device while the app is in use and are removed when you uninstall the app.

1.2 Permissions used

PermissionPurpose
MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 11+) Scan files across device storage to list large files, and delete the files you select for cleanup.
READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 12 and below) Read files from device storage to list large files on older Android versions.

Terms of Service for System Update for Android

Terms of Service - Android System Update

Terms of Service

Application: Android System Update
Provider: Arum Communications Corp.
Effective date: 2026-06-15

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Android System Update mobile application ("the App" or "the Service"), provided by Arum Communications Corp. ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The Service

The App displays system and application information about your device, such as the Android version, API level, security patch level, Google Play services version, and Google Play system module (Mainline) versions, along with the list of installed applications and their package details. The App also provides shortcuts to the relevant system, Google Play, and device-manufacturer screens for checking and installing updates. All information is read and displayed on your device.

Informational purposes only. The App does not itself download, install, or modify system software or applications. Update checks and installations are performed by the Android operating system, Google Play, or your device manufacturer. The App provides information and convenient shortcuts; the availability and outcome of any update are controlled by those external systems, not by us.

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or lease any part of the App;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except as permitted by law;
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels;
  • Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our services or those of our third-party providers;
  • Use the App to violate any applicable law or regulation, or to infringe the rights of others.

4. Permissions

The App requests permission to query the list of installed applications and to access the network and show notifications, in order to display app and system information and deliver update-related alerts. You can review or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings; doing so may limit or disable App functionality.

5. In-App Purchases

The App is free to use and supported by advertising. You may optionally make a one-time in-app purchase to remove ads. In-app purchases are processed by Google Play Billing and managed through RevenueCat.

  • Billing: The purchase price is charged to your Google account at confirmation of purchase, at the price displayed in the App at the time of purchase.
  • One-time purchase: The ad-removal purchase is a one-time, non-subscription purchase. It is not auto-renewing and does not incur recurring charges.
  • Refunds: Refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy and any non-waivable rights you may have under your local law. We generally cannot issue refunds directly; please contact Google Play support for refund requests.
  • Restore purchases: If you reinstall the App or change devices, you can use the "Restore Purchases" function to reactivate a purchase tied to your Google account.
  • Price changes: We may change purchase prices from time to time. Any change applies only to purchases made after the change takes effect.

6. Advertising

The free version of the App is supported by advertising delivered by Google AdMob. Ad selection may use device identifiers and information about your device and the App. You can remove ads through the one-time in-app purchase described above.

7. Third-Party Services

The App integrates third-party services, including Google Play Services, Google AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Play Billing, and RevenueCat. We are not responsible for third-party services and do not control their content, policies, or practices.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Engage in any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or harassing activity;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App or its related systems;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App;
  • Distribute viruses, malware, or any other malicious code through or in connection with the App.

Privacy Policy for System Update for Android

Privacy Policy - Android System Update

Privacy Policy

Application: Android System Update
Provider: Arum Communications Corp.
Effective date: 2026-06-15

Arum Communications Corp. ("we", "us", "our") built the Android System Update app ("the Service") as a free, ad-supported application with an optional one-time in-app purchase.

The Service reads system and application information already present on your device in order to display it to you, including:

  • Device and OS information (Android version, API level, codename, security patch level, build properties, RAM, storage, display metrics, time zone)
  • Google Play services version and Google Play system module (Mainline) versions and license details
  • The list of applications installed on your device and their package information (package name, version, and related metadata) for the app-list and app-info features

This information stays on your device. We do not upload your device information, installed-app list, package details, or system module information to any server operated by us. The Service displays this data locally and does not retain it after you leave the relevant screen.

1.2 Permissions used

PermissionPurpose
INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE Required to load advertising, deliver push notifications, and validate in-app purchases.
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES Required to enumerate the applications installed on your device so the app can show the installed app list, package details, and update information. This data is read on-device and is not uploaded.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+) Required to show notifications, such as alerts about available app or system updates.

1.3 Information collected by third-party services

The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you or your device. These services may collect data such as device identifiers (Android Advertising ID), IP address, device model, operating system version, app version, language, country, crash logs, push notification tokens, and aggregated usage events. Please review each provider's privacy policy linked in Section 4 below.

1.4 Purchase information

If you make an in-app purchase (for example, the one-time purchase to remove ads), the transaction is processed by Google Play Billing and managed through RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment instrument (e.g., credit card number). We receive an anonymous app user ID, purchase tokens, entitlement status, and purchase metadata such as country and product ID, in order to grant and validate your purchase.

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide the core system-information and app-information features (read locally on your device).
  • To deliver advertising, including non-personalized ads where required by law or by your consent choice.
  • To send push notifications, such as update-related alerts.
  • To measure app performance, diagnose crashes, and improve stability.
  • To validate and manage in-app purchases.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal Basis (EEA/UK Users)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on (a) your consent for advertising, analytics, and crash reporting that involve personal data, collected through Google's Consent Management Platform (CMP) shown on first launch; (b) the performance of a contract for purchase processing; and (c) our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service.

  • You may also remove ads entirely through the one-time in-app purchase.
  • Learn more: Advertising ID, Google Ad Settings.

6. Push Notifications

The Service uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to send notifications, such as alerts about available app or system updates. To do this, the device is assigned a registration token. You can disable notifications at any time in your device's system notification settings; doing so does not affect the other features of the app.

7. Log Data

When the app crashes or encounters an error, third-party tools (Firebase Crashlytics) may collect diagnostic data including device IP, device model, operating system version, app configuration at the time of the error, and the time and date of the event. This information is used solely to diagnose and resolve issues.

8. Cookies

The Service does not itself use cookies. However, third-party SDKs embedded in the app may use cookie-equivalent identifiers (such as advertising IDs) to provide their services.

9. Data Retention

  • System and app information is read on demand and displayed locally; it is not stored on our servers.
  • Purchase records are retained by RevenueCat and Google Play Billing for as long as required to maintain your entitlement and for legal/accounting purposes.
  • Crash, analytics, and push-notification data are retained according to each provider's standard retention periods.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (EEA, UK, California, etc.), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

11. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the limited information processed through the Service. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective date" at the top.

Privacy Policy for Crop Image

Privacy Policy - Crop Image

Privacy Policy

Application: Crop Image
Provider: Arum Communications Corp.
Effective date: 2026-06-07

Arum Communications Corp. ("we", "us", "our") built the Crop Image app ("the Service") as a free, ad-supported application with an optional paid premium upgrade.

The Service lets you crop, rotate, straighten, and batch-process photos, take a new photo with your camera to crop, and apply filters and effects. To do this, the app reads:

  • The photos you select from your gallery, or the photo you capture with the camera, so they can be displayed and edited
  • File metadata (file name, file path, file size, modification date) of the images you choose to edit
  • The MediaStore content URIs needed to load the images you pick and to save the cropped or edited output back to your device

This information stays on your device. The cropping, rotation, straightening, and filter/effect processing all happen locally on your device. We do not upload your photos, file names, file paths, thumbnails, or edited results to any server operated by us. Cropped and edited images are saved to your device's gallery (photo storage) and remain under your control.

1.2 Permissions used

PermissionPurpose
CAMERA Capture a new photo so you can crop and edit it. Used only when you choose the camera option.
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES (Android 13+) Read photos from device storage so you can select images to crop and edit.
READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 12 and below) Same purpose as above on older Android versions.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 12 and below) Required to save your cropped and edited images to device storage on legacy Android versions.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+) Display notifications, such as update or informational messages delivered via push.

1.4 Subscription and purchase information

If you purchase a premium upgrade, the transaction is processed by Google Play Billing and managed through RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment instrument (e.g., credit card number). We receive an anonymous subscriber ID, purchase tokens, entitlement status, and purchase metadata such as country and product ID, in order to grant and validate your premium entitlement (for example, to remove ads for premium users).

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide the core cropping, rotating, straightening, batch processing, and filter/effect functionality (locally on your device).
  • To deliver advertising, including non-personalized ads where required by law or by your consent choice.
  • To send notifications relevant to the app where you have allowed them.
  • To measure app performance, diagnose crashes, and improve stability.
  • To validate and manage premium purchases.

  • For EEA, UK, or Swiss users, you may withdraw or change your advertising consent through the in-app privacy options, which re-displays the Google CMP consent form.
  • Purchasing the premium upgrade removes ads from the app.
  • Learn more: Advertising ID, Google Ad Settings.

6. Push Notifications

The app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications. To do this, a unique device registration token is generated and processed by Google. You can disable notifications at any time from your device's system settings for the app, and on Android 13 and above you may decline the notification permission when prompted.

  • Photos are processed transiently for editing and are not retained by us; cropped and edited images you save are stored in your own device gallery and remain under your control.
  • Temporary working files created during editing are kept only in the app's cache and are removed when the cache is cleared or when you uninstall the app.
  • Purchase records are retained by RevenueCat and Google Play Billing for as long as required to maintain your entitlement and for legal/accounting purposes.
  • Crash, analytics, and push notification data are retained according to each provider's standard retention periods.

10. Your Rights
